It seems like forever since I last posted on our site. Winter took us by “storm” and life went by very quickly. Many new developments that we will post about in the upcoming weeks, but for today, our top summer story. We just tilled a nice big garden that will be as organic as possible. Our local organic farmer, Drew, has worked this land for several years before we purchased it and took very good care of developing it into a large organic field. We are now benefitting from his hard work and want to thank him for his ongoing support, including sage advice on gardening, tractors and hay seed selection.
Back to our garden. We have a small gardening club who will be overseeing the planting and care, but we will certainly welcome green thumbs who want to help with the eventual weeding. Our garden is being fertilized by our own “black gold” also known as horse manure. For our avid gardeners/clients, we have extra horse compost if you wish to have some for your garden.
